Prices shown are the all-in first year. The gh line is the renewal price for every year after that. An extension tagged high renewal costs at least three times more from year two onward — worth knowing before you buy.

International domains are registered through direct connections to Name and Dynadot; .vn domains are filed through PA Vietnam. The domain is registered in your name, handed over in full, with DNS control in your own account. The account is created from the email you give us and you sign in with a one-time code. What is a domain availability check?
An availability check tells you whether a domain has already been registered or is still free. If it is free you can register it immediately. If it is taken, the lookup returns the public whois record — the registrar currently managing it, the registration date and the expiry date — which is what you need to decide between approaching the owner and choosing something else.
What does the whois record tell you?
Whois is the public register of domain records. For a name that is already taken you can see:
- The registrar currently managing the name
- The registration and expiry dates — a name approaching expiry is worth watching
- The nameservers it points at, and therefore whether a live site sits on it
- The registrant, unless privacy protection is enabled
Which extension should you choose?
| Extension | Best for |
|---|---|
| .com | The default in users’ heads; works for any business anywhere, and holds the strongest resale value |
| .vn | Signals a registered presence in Vietnam; the shortest and scarcest local option |
| .com.vn | The usual choice for a Vietnamese company; cheaper and more widely available than .vn |
| .edu.vn | Schools, training centres and educational bodies that qualify under the registry rules |
| .net / .org | Defensive registrations, and non-profit or infrastructure organisations |
Frequently asked questions
Does an availability check cost anything?
No. The lookup is free and unlimited for ordinary use. You only pay when you decide to register a name.
If a domain shows as available, can I register it right away?
Yes. Available names are first come, first served, so it is worth acting quickly. Once payment clears, the registration runs automatically and the name lands in your account.
Whose name is the domain registered in?
Yours. You are the registrant, with full DNS control from your own account.
What does the price include?
The all-in cost for the first year: the registration fee plus our service fee. The renewal price from year two is shown directly underneath so there is no surprise later.
What does a .vn registration require?
The .vn registry requires registrant details: full name, national ID or tax number, date of birth and address. You enter them on this page and the filing goes through PA Vietnam. Foreign registrants should expect this step to take longer than a generic registration.
The domain I want is taken. What now?
The lookup shows the whois record so you know the expiry date and the registrar. You can pick another extension, change the keyword, or ask us to approach the current owner on your behalf.
Do you sell already-registered domains as well?
Yes. Alongside new registrations there is a curated marketplace of vetted names with public prices, available immediately. Names held there are flagged in your lookup results.
Can I manage the DNS myself after registering?
Yes. Sign in with the one-time code sent to your email, open the domains section, and add A, CNAME, MX and TXT records yourself — pointing a site, attaching business email or verifying with Google are all self-service.
